Roice-Hurst Humane Society’s Pet Talks is a monthly community lecture series designed to explore timely and impactful topics in animal welfare. Lectures are held at Carlson Vineyards Downtown Tasting Room, 545 Main Street. All talks are free and open to the public.
This month’s speakers are Dr. Thad Respet, owner of Sky Canyon Veterinary Hospital, and Caitlyn Murphy, RVT, Veterinary Services Manager at Roice-Hurst Humane Society. They will examine the ripple effects of spay and neuter on communities, including its role in preventing overpopulation and supporting long-term pet health.
