Are you feeling guilty about the pets in our community that don’t have a home to call their own? Do you feel imprisoned by your love for these creatures? Be an accomplice in finding these pets a better future than being locked up at the shelter. Join other animal lovers in our community and support Roice-Hurst Humane Society’s 2nd annual Shelter Break to help break these pets out of the shelter for good!

What can you do?

Become one of our Canine Convicts or Feline Felons and raise your bail to care for the animals that are locked up awaiting their forever homes. Raise your bail in advance to avoid lock-up at the shelter, lock yourself up at work September 25 or join our pets in their kennels on September 26 and raise your bail from the inside! Participate as an individual or a team of up to four. Challenge your friends and rivals to compete for cool prizes. Then join us for live music and a Rib City barbecue after the event!

Contribute to the bail funds of your friends, family, coworkers, and community leaders. Or better yet, contribute to Warden Anna’s Counter-bail Fund and she will increase their bail amount, keeping them locked up even longer and challenging them to raise more!
