It’s summertime, which means it’s time for the Furry Friends Kids Camp! Children ages 6-12 will learn all about dogs and cats, from how to greet them to how to care for them, make treats and toys, practice positive reinforcement training for dogs and cats, and spend quality time interacting with our animals. Let our staff and volunteers open the wonderful world of animals to your child with activities that emphasize safety, empathy, and compassion.
Children will be divided into 3 groups of similar ages and will rotate through three stations each day: dogs, cats, and crafts.
July 18-21 – 8:45am-noon. Space is limited to 21 kids. Cost is $100 for the four day camp. Scholarships (full and partial) are available.
To apply for a scholarship, submit completed FFKC 2022 Registration and an essay, series of drawings, or other creative work by your child that answers the question, “How do pets make our community a better place?”
Scholarship applications must be received 10 business days before the start of camp.
