Spay/Neuter Assistance

If you have a pet that has not been spayed or neutered and you aren’t able to afford the full cost of a spay/neuter procedure at your regular veterinarian, please fill out the form below to request a spay/neuter voucher at a partner clinic or an appointment for a low-cost spay/neuter procedure performed at Roice-Hurst Humane Society. Please submit the form below. You can expect to be contacted within 48 hours Monday-Friday. Questions? Please contact our Animal Resource Center Coordinator at 970-434-7337 ext. 103 or info@rhhumanesociety.org.

A limited number of spay/neuter surgery appointments performed at Roice-Hurst Humane Society and spay/neuter vouchers redeemable at other local vet clinics are available on a first-come, first-served basis for pet owners who qualify based on financial need. After the monthly limit is reached, applicants may be added to a waiting list.

Currently, our fees for on-site surgeries are: $45 for male cat neuters, $60 for female cat spays, $100 for male dog neuters, and $120 for female dog spays. A deposit is required to hold your pet’s surgery spot ($45 for cats, $50 for dogs). Once the deposit is received and a waiver is signed, your surgery spot is confirmed. Please come prepared to pay the remaining balance at the time of surgery. Additional services, like vaccinations or microchipping, are available for an additional discounted rate
